On our exploratory trip to Sweden in 2007 we visited the community of Boden in Swedish Lapland and discovered a region where genuine hospitality and passionate locals, with a pride in their heritage and surroundings, excel even the best holiday to a higher level. Over a decade later and we continue to promote this destination of forests, river valleys and rapids. Today we are pleased to offer the Arctic Retreat, an authentic, owner-managed luxury lodge surrounded by unspoiled nature. 

The property comprises four traditional log cabins on the edge of the Råne river renovated with the utmost attention to detail. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood into your private space and cosy nooks and unique furnishing add a sense of place and home. In the winter your roaring wood-burning fire will brighten the dark nights, and in the summer the ever-changing light of the midnight sun can be enjoyed.
